What is an artist residency with Alicia? Usually, a visit covers a period of weeks, as short as one or as long as five. Alicia will use storytelling, drama, movement, and improvisation to inspire students to write. With pre-k and K Littles, Alicia is trained in WolfTrap strategies to use storytelling, storybox, puppetry, chants, movement, and lots of imagination to to engage Littles in story.

What is arts-integration? Arts integration, defined by the Kennedy Center as "an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. Students engage in a creative process which connects an art form and another subject and meets evolving objectives in both."
